August.

I can’t believe it’s already August. Where has the summer gone? I leave for school in less than three weeks. This has been a summer of ups and downs with family issues and seeing friends I haven’t seen for a while….

Finals Week.

So I haven’t actually written in my blog almost this entire semester because I have been crazy busy with work. It’s finals week though and I am done with two classes. I have been able to hang out with people I haven’t been able to hang out with in a while like the FOH staff. The picnic and the afterparty was crazy fun!

This semester definitely had its ups and downs for me. I have a lot of family issues at home and trying to not let it affect my schoolwork and mental stability was really hard. However, it is nice to know that I have a great support system and all my friends are truly there for me.

I have had my heart broken this semester, but I am healing. It will always hurt in some ways, but in other ways I am glad I got to spend the time with him that I did. I will always have good memories, and I hope that we can remain friends.

My grades for this semester seem to be better than last semester, but at the very least I am maintaining my GPA. I will be taking my GREs in August, and I also need to look at more grad school programs. I will hopefully have a shot.

I am finally done being an officer of the Penn State Swing Dance Club after two years, but it was a very awesome responsibility. Yes, it drove me insane at times, but I did it out of the best interest for the club. These people are some of my best friends here, and we have crazy amazing dances and parties! I am still happy to be a part of the club whether as a teacher or a liason, because I want to spread the joy of dancing.

I just can’t believe it has been three years since I started my career here at Penn State, and that next year will potentially be my last one. It just seems so surreal that time passes by so fast.

I am extremely grateful for everyone that I know and have met that just want to see me happy. I wish you all the happiness in the world that you deserve.

There is still so much on my to-do list at Penn State, and hopefully I can get them done all next year!

For now, I just can’t wait for summer to begin so I can go to the beach and enjoy the sun and the company of my friends from home. <3
